The perfect Rhone style blend for Fall
I was the hero of happy hour on my recent work trip to Anaheim! A bunch of my colleagues and I were hanging out having drinks at the lobby bar in our hotel. The wine selection was very so-so and overpriced, and when I mentioned I had a lovely red blend in my hotel room (cough cough - I always travel with wine!) they told me to bring it down! The corkage fee was cheaper than the uncharge on any of the bottles that the hotel could sell us, and this wine was so much better.

We opened the fantastic 2019 Cotes du Crow's red blend from Morgan Winery and everyone who had a glass was blown away with it. This is a Grenache and Syrah based blend with small amounts of Tempranillo and Cinsault. Notes of raspberry, blackberry jam, plum and fig are balanced out by notes of earthy herbs, a hint of spice, and a little bit of smokey vanilla.

Medium body and medium tannins, this was fantastic to sip on and paired well with a variety of appetizers we had purchased from the bar. Highly recommend this bottle from Morgan Winery for your fall festivities.
