Wedding Wines that Stole the Show
Picking great wine for my wedding day was extremely important to me.

I’ve been to a lot of weddings where the wine is just so mediocre that I have to switch to well drinks almost immediately, because why drink gross wine at a wedding? When we were first looking at venues, there was one that I liked, but one of the cons was that you were stuck with the wine choices they provided, and they were not at all what I wanted to serve. When I found my venue and they told us they were completely BYOB, I was so excited to pick out all of our wine, liquor and specialty cocktails!
Price was really important to us, since we had 130 people there, and we knew our family and friends would drink a lot. Here’s what we ended up serving:
For the Rehearsal Dinner we served @hopefamilywines Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 🥰 my absolute favorite Cab was a huge hit with my family and wedding party!
We had a Champagne Wall prior to the ceremony so everyone could enjoy some bubbles when they walked in. Because we needed so much sparkling wine, we went with a Blanc de Blancs from Trader Joe’s! Great value bottle and quite tasty. I had a bottle of Cava before the reception, and also had a bottle of Moët Champagne for myself, but never got a chance to open it.
@lapislunawines Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc for our white wines at the wedding. They were both a HIT, especially the Sauvignon Blanc! People loved how beautiful the bottles were too
@finalgirlwines Rosé of Grenache and Tethered Red Blend. I had 3 people come up to me during the cocktail hour saying it was the best rosé they’ve ever had. I think we were totally out by the end of cocktail hour! We also went through almost the whole case of the red blend.. it’s such an easy drinker and paired really well with both meals we served.
Last but certainly not least, we served Bonanza Cabernet Sauvignon from @caymuscab and the whole case was finished pretty quickly.
All in all, our family and friends almost completely emptied the bar which meant everyone was having a REALLY good time 😊
What wines would you serve at your wedding if you had to pick?
